Objective
The Project Manager will lead and support critical initiatives on a temporary basis. This role will oversee project planning, coordination, and execution to ensure deliverables are met on time, within scope, and within budget. The role will primarily focus on overseeing the Microsoft Business Central ERP implementation and Legacy System transition along with other Business Systems Team initiatives.
Essential Functions
- Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure clear communication between stakeholders
- Recommend and create business improvements that satisfy corporate goals and business needs
- Responsible for the overall delivery and management of projects
- Develop and refine the project management process, best practices, and tools
- Project planning, timeline, and reporting
- Investigate trends, industry standards, and best practices in project portfolio management to keep REI current
- Continue to define data governance
- Track budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure efficient project execution
- Resourcing planning and reporting
- Facilitate and lead meetings as needed
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively develop mitigation strategies
- Removes roadblocks and obstacles that may hinder progress
- Ability to interpret and communicate REI policies
- Other duties as required
Required Education and Experience to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field; PMP certification is a plus or equivalent number of years of experience required
- 2 years of proven experience as a Project Manager or more
- Excellent documentation, analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies
- Superior communication skills
- Strong ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities
- Willingness and ability to collaborate with peers and stakeholders at all levels
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, Databases, and ERP Systems and Processes
