What are the responsibilities and job description for the Door Person/Security position at Radio Bean & Light Club Lamp Shop?
Radio Bean and Light Club Lamp Shop are two small interconnected music clubs. We're looking for a part time door/security person who is friendly, cares about our community, has good awareness around safety, and is a pleasure to work with. Experience is a plus, but not required. $17/hr a percentage of the nightly tip pool.
Must be available to work late on weekends through closing, until ~3:00 am.
Duties include:
-Checking/verifying IDs
-Collecting cover charges for shows
-Cleaning, bussing, barbacking
- Conducting regular rounds of the premises to ensure the security and safety of all patrons and staff.
- Responding promptly to incidents, emergencies, deescalating problems, and taking appropriate action as necessary.
-Other duties as necessary.
