Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Regulatory & Technical Documentation Specialist to join our team. In this vital role, you will develop, review, and manage technical documents and regulatory submissions to ensure compliance with industry standards. Your expertise in technical writing, editing, and research will support our commitment to excellence and innovation in the plastics industry.

Duties

  • Review, evaluate and maintain incoming technical, environmental, health, safety, and regulatory documents, including but not limited to Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Technical Data Sheets (TDS), product specifications, Certificates of Analysis (COA), production process flow charts, and control plan, REACH, RoHS, Prop-65, GADSL, absence of regulated chemicals, and other regulatory declarations.
  • Collaborate with Procurement during the raw material approval process in accordance with HPP_PR_006_EN, including collection, review, and upload of required documentation.
  • Maintain raw material documentation in accordance with HPP_OI_004_EN_Raw Material Documents, including document upload, record maintenance, and periodic updates as documents expire, are revised, or otherwise become invalid.
  • Support QC regarding key acceptance criteria for incoming raw materials, maintaining specifications with emphasis on critical components and color pigments.
  • Work closely with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Procurement to support supply chain changes, including evaluation, documentation, and qualification of new raw materials and supplier sources as needs arise.
  • Support to procurement with direct interaction or meetings with suppliers in case of technical needs or clarifications.
  • Manage multiple tasks, utilizing organization and time management skills, while maintaining proper documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison to business leaders and global subject matter experts, ensuring compliance as new products are developed and regulations evolve, including updating plans, interpreting business impact, and overseeing implementation.
  • Write clear concise, and accurate technical proposals and reports.
  • Support R&D in determining, documenting, and reporting compliance with OEM specifications.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Polymer/Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field preferred with 3 years of relevant experience OR High school diploma with 10 years of thermoplastics compounding and regulatory affairs experience
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and technical documentation preferred

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
