What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Bartender position at Radici Kitchen & Bar?
A Server is responsible for achieving exceptional and nuanced food and beverage service for all guests in their assigned area. They explain the menu, take orders, serve all foods and coordinate the service of beverages, bread and butter, and all other items. They manage the pace and timing of guest meals and communicate as appropriate with guests, responding to their needs. Radici focuses on guest experience and developing long term relationships with our guests. It is expected that the Server will learn the our guests, their names, their favorite table, drink, and menu item.
- Acts as the host on the dining room floor, greeting and communicating with guests, and making them feel welcome, cared for and relaxed.
- Explains the menu in detail and takes guests’ orders, suggesting appropriate courses
- Manages the service of waters, bread and butter, and all food and beverages
- Serves food and beverages in a discrete and professional, and unobtrusive manner
- Discern guests’ moods and accommodate their preferences and requests
- Is fully knowledgeable of the entire menu including raw products and preparation techniques
- Coordinates with the back waiter, busser, food runner, hostess and manager to ensure smooth and well-coordinated service
- Completes all opening and closing side work
- Must be willing and able to complete any related or similar tasks assigned by their supervisor or manger
- To consistently improve and refine the skillset and knowledge of all resources, equipment, and product pertaining to the position

Pay: $10.40 - $12.00 per hour
