Job Title: Data Scientist (Databricks Experience)
Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Data Scientist with hands-on experience in Databricks to build scalable machine learning models and derive actionable insights from large datasets. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems using data-driven approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy machine learning models using Databricks and Apache Spark.
- Perform data cleaning, exploration, and feature engineering on large datasets.
- Build and optimize data pipelines in a distributed computing environment.
- Utilize Databricks tools such as MLflow for experiment tracking and model management.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights.
- Monitor model performance and ensure continuous improvement.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance standards are met.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2 5 years of experience in data science or machine learning roles.
- Strong experience with Databricks and Apache Spark.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Solid understanding of statistics, predictive modeling, and data analysis.
- Experience working with large-scale and complex datasets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MLflow, Delta Lake, and Databricks workflows.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Experience in NLP, deep learning, or time-series forecasting.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Understanding of MLOps and CI/CD practices.
