Reporting Expectations:
On-site – 5 days/week
Manager is looking for a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Financial Analyst with strong experience in analyzing, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Top Skills:
- Accounting or Finance degree
- Experience as a Financial Analyst
- Experience in a regulated or manufacturing environment is a plus
- 7 years of Financial Analyst experience (budgeting & variance analysis)
Purpose:
• Responsible for strategic processes that link financial planning strategies with site-level execution for both short- and long-term targets.
• Provides business analysis and insights to support decision-making and performance tracking.
• Assists with improvement projects, including business impact analysis, and continuously enhances business information processes.
• Acts as an implementation partner for business units when rolling out new corporate processes or supporting finance partnering initiatives.
• Identifies improvement opportunities within finance and procurement functions and ensures relevant local implementation.
Essential Functions:
Business Partnering:
• Ensure alignment with global finance strategy.
• Support process optimization both within finance and across site functions.
• Drive automation initiatives across finance and procurement.
Finance Partnering:
• Partner with business units to provide insights and drive business value.
• Analyze, budget, and forecast financial data.
• Ensure business reviews, agendas, and materials are delivered on time with high quality.
• Manage the process of updating site goals and presenting status to senior leadership.
• Prepare monthly management reports.
• Track, analyze, and forecast key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Provide detailed analysis to support management decision-making.
• Monitor and follow up on corrective actions when performance deviates from targets.
Investment Controlling:
• Lead and prepare investment project budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Evaluate and support investment projects, ensuring strong financial justification and governance.
• Participate in project meetings across multiple levels, including leadership and governance groups.
Risk Reporting:
• Perform month-end activities and reporting.
• Support financial processes, audits, and reporting requirements.
• Consolidate investment data for financial reporting.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to work in an open office environment with potential distractions.
• Ability to travel up to 10% as required.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Logistics, or related field required.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Strong experience in strategy execution and long-term planning.
• Minimum 7 years of financial analyst experience (budgeting & variance analysis) within a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Advanced proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience in process improvement initiatives.
• Ability to develop and execute action plans to achieve targets.
