What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Designer position at Radiant System, Inc?
- Design production tooling, jigs, fixtures, and gauges using Creo/SolidWorks.
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings.
- Support manufacturing, process, quality, and engineering teams.
- Apply GD&T, DFM, and ASME Y14.5 standards.
- Process engineering changes (ECRs) and support prototype validation.
Requirements:
- 8 years of Mechanical Design experience.
- Strong experience with Creo (preferred), SolidWorks, or AutoCAD.
- Expertise in tooling, fixture, and jig design.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, DFM, machining, fabrication, and CAD PDM.
- Experience with CNC machining and 3D printing is a plus.
- Medical device industry experience is preferred but not required.
