Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and oral health assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
- Conduct medical documentation accurately, ensuring all patient records are up to date and compliant with regulations.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures, enhancing efficiency and patient comfort.
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to patient visits.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental care.
- Monitor vital signs as necessary and perform medical imaging procedures when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to aseptic techniques to prevent infection.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with medical documentation practices.
