About the role
Radiant Roofing is a fast-growing roofing, siding, and gutter company based in Bedford, Ohio. We're coming off a record first year and scaling hard in 2026, especially after the recent hail storm on April 15th. Our Production Assistant is the backbone of our field operations — you're the person who makes sure every job site is clean, every customer is informed, every check gets picked up, and every piece of leftover material makes it back to the warehouse. You'll be on the road daily, working directly with our production manager and crews to keep jobs moving from completion to closed.
What you'll do every day...
Job site closeout
- Inspect completed job sites for cleanliness and debris
- Confirm all materials, tools, and waste are cleared
- Do a final walkthrough before customer sign-off
- Photograph completed work for our records
Material management
- Pick up and inventory excess material from job sites
- Return unused materials to warehouse or supplier
- Run materials from warehouse or supplier to active crews
- Maintain accurate material logs for each job
Customer-facing duties
- Communicate job status updates directly to homeowners
- Collect certificates of completion signatures
- Pick up final payment checks from customers
- Represent Radiant Roofing professionally at every door
Admin & billing support
- Deliver paid invoices to customers upon payment
- Submit collected checks to office same day
- Log completed closeout steps in JobNimbus
- Flag any issues or missing items to production manager
Scheduling support
- Assist production manager with daily job coordination
- Communicate scheduling updates and changes to customers
- Confirm upcoming job dates with homeowners
- Help track crew locations and site progress throughout the day
General production support
- Assist crews with light material handling on site
- Support production manager with day-to-day logistics
- Help onboard and orient new crews to active sites
- Step in wherever needed to keep jobs on track
What we're looking for
- Valid Ohio driver's license with a clean driving record — you'll be driving daily
- Reliable personal vehicle or comfort operating a company vehicle
- Strong communicator — comfortable talking to homeowners face to face and on the phone
- Highly organized with attention to detail — you notice when something's off
- Able to work independently and manage a route of multiple stops per day
- Comfortable with basic smartphone apps and photo documentation
- Prior experience in construction, roofing, or field operations is a plus
- Punctual, dependable, and takes ownership of your tasks without hand-holding
- Physically able to lift and move roofing materials (up to 50 lbs)
Pay$17–$23/hr depending on experience
ScheduleFull-time, Mon–Fri (occasional Saturday during storm season)
