Radiant Path Therapy and Psychiatry is hiring a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our growing behavioral health team. We are open to both part-time and full-time candidates and are happy to consider motivated new graduates as well as experienced providers.
This is a hybrid position with services provided through a combination of in-person and telehealth care. The primary responsibilities include completing initial psychiatric evaluations, follow-up appointments, medication management visits, and SPRAVATO treatment oversight. Occasional certification of short-term disabilities and medical leaves of absence. Depending on experience, interest, and program needs, the role may also include therapy, case management support, care coordination, documentation review, or other behavioral health services.
The provider will work with patients from a wide range of ages, backgrounds, diagnoses, and walks of life. We are looking for someone compassionate, reliable, clinically appropriate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient behavioral health setting.
Responsibilities
- Complete psychiatric initial evaluations
- Provide medication management follow-ups
- Assist with SPRAVATO treatment oversight and monitoring
- Document services accurately and timely in the EMR
- Coordinate with therapists, case managers, and administrative staff as needed
- Support patient care across outpatient mental health and substance use programming
- Participate in insurance credentialing and compliance requirements
- Help create and maintain an organized scheduling workflow
- Use computers, EMR systems, AI tools, and other technology to support efficient clinical work
Requirements
- Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license
- Active DEA registration
- Willingness to move or associate DEA registration with our office location
- Willingness to be credentialed with major insurance companies
- Comfortable providing care to diverse patients and clinical presentations
- Strong documentation skills
- Comfortable using computers, EMR systems, scheduling systems, and AI-assisted workflow tools
- Reliable, professional, and able to start sooner rather than later
Preferred, But Not Required
- Experience with SPRAVATO or willingness to be trained
- Experience in outpatient psychiatry, PHP, IOP, or substance use treatment
- Experience with therapy, case management, or multidisciplinary care
- Comfort working with both mental health and substance use populations
Compensation
This is a competitive 1099 position paid on a flat-fee-per-session basis, with rates based on session type and service provided. High-volume psychiatric providers have the potential to earn very strong compensation, with top earners exceeding $200,000 annually depending on schedule, availability, and productivity.
Physician collaboration is provided.
Schedule
Flexible part-time or full-time availability. Hybrid work available. Ideal candidate is willing to start as soon as possible.
Pay: $189,047.27 - $201,624.91 per year
