Salary Range: $180,000 to 200,000/Year
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Plant Manager to lead our high-speed bottling operation. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive operational excellence, foster a culture of safety and collaboration, and deliver consistent performance in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a systems builder and a hands-on leader who thrives on driving continuous improvement, efficiency, and quality across all aspects of production.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Lead daily manufacturing operations with a focus on delivering safe, high-quality products on time and at optimal cost.
- Establish and maintain Lean Six Sigma frameworks such as Standard Work, Daily Management, A3 Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis, and Kaizen.
- Develop, implement, and monitor key performance metrics (KPIs) to drive improvements in safety, quality, reliability, yield, line efficiency, and labor utilization.
- Manage plant budgets, forecast operational costs, and lead 5-year capital planning initiatives.
Team Development & Culture
- Build and sustain a high-performing, engaged workforce through coaching, mentoring, and talent development.
- Promote a positive, accountability-driven culture that aligns with company goals and values.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration between production, maintenance, quality, and logistics teams.
Continuous Improvement & Compliance
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Champion workplace safety programs including PPE compliance and the FIFI (Find-It, Fix-It) initiative.
- Ensure adherence to GMP, OSHA, and Food Safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to support process innovation and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 7 years of leadership experience in a food, beverage, or consumer goods manufacturing environment.
- Proven success implementing and sustaining Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement systems.
- Strong business and analytical acumen with experience managing budgets and performance metrics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, JD Edwards, SharePoint, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and developing strong, motivated teams.
