Position Overview:
The Medical Assistant will support patient care and basic administrative needs to help the clinic operate smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Tasks:
- Take vitals
- Document patient histories in the EMR
- Perform point-of-care testing (strep, flu, urinalysis, glucose, etc.)
- Administer injections or vaccines (if certified)
Administrative Tasks:
- Answer phones
- Schedule appointments
- Collect payments
- Assist with patient communication and follow-up
- Manage lab orders and communicate results
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA/CCMA) preferred
- Previous primary care experience is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional, friendly, and reliable
Schedule & Compensation:
- Part-Time: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
- Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
