Job Title: Systems Engineer V
Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid: Tue–Thu onsite)
Duration: 12 months
Role Overview
Seeking a senior Systems Engineer with 10 years of experience to support customer-facing order management and monitoring systems. This role focuses on ensuring end-to-end order flow integrity, proactive monitoring, automation, and performance optimization across CXP-based systems in a B2B customer delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor all installed CXP systems supporting order workflows
- Ensure order journey continuity within SLAs; proactively detect failures and raise alerts
- Build automated processes and reports for critical order lifecycle milestones
- Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and work with development teams to implement fixes
- Perform triaging of system and workflow issues to ensure minimal disruption
- Maintain system security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Develop and maintain scripts to improve system efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Contribute to the design and enhancement of operational support systems
Required Skills & Experience
- 10 years of experience in systems engineering, monitoring, or production support roles
- Strong experience in customer-facing environments, preferably B2B customer delivery
- Deep expertise in order management and order workflow systems (digital or local order flows)
- Hands-on experience with CXP systems (CJCM, DBS, DMD or similar)
- Proficiency in monitoring and reporting tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Pega
- Experience building automated reports and monitoring dashboards
- Solid understanding of Oracle backend systems
- Strong data analytics skills for performance tracking and issue identification
- Experience in scripting and automation to reduce manual intervention
