IDC/RCD is hiring a Histotechnologist (HTL)/Histotechnician (HT). We are looking for an individual who can work closely with clinic and organizations leadership to provide a quality patient experience.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)
- Receive and prepare tissue specimens for pathologist review.
- Perform histological procedures including accessioning, grossing, tissue processing, embedding, microtomy and staining.
- Maintain accurate tissue and slide records in electronic medical record.
- Facilitate and coordinate the transfer of blocks and slides.
- Clean and maintain instruments and work areas.
- Comply with established laboratory policies to ensure employee safety.
- Perform other duties as requested by supervisors.
- Registered Histotechnologist (HTL)/ Histotechnician (HT) (ASCP) preferred.
- Associates degree in biologic sciences (Biology or Chemistry) considered.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Strong computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
