What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media Manager and Content Creator position at Radiancy Health?

About Us

Radiancy Health is a premier behavioral health care company specializing in the compassionate treatment of substance use and mental health disorders. Built on the simple belief that behavioral health works best when modern clinical frameworks are grounded in real human connection, we are searching for a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to join our team and represent our four unique locations: The Garden, The Embers, Lifeline, and The Lakes. Our approach to care is guided by the PHŌS Framework—an evidence-informed model integrating science, philosophy, and compassion to create lasting change. Rooted in Positive Psychology and Salutogenesis, PHŌS focuses on building resilience, health, meaningful outcomes, and personal strengths rather than just treating pathology. We are looking for an individual who is not only a strategic thinker but also a hands-on creator. If you possess a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for design, and the technical skills to produce engaging video content that highlights the life-changing care at our facilities, we want to hear from you. Our company values innovation, creativity, and treating our clients like family, ensuring that the level of care we provide is one we would trust for our own loved ones. We offer an environment where your ideas can directly impact our brand's growth and help connect individuals in need with vital recovery resources.

The Role

As our full-time Social Media Manager, you will be the driving force behind the online presence of Radiancy Health and our four locations (The Garden, The Embers, Lifeline, and The Lakes). You will take ownership of our social media channels from end to end. This involves traveling between our locations to conceptualize ideas, capture original video content, design graphics, write compelling copy, and execute the daily posting strategy.

This is a hybrid role that perfectly blends high-level strategic planning with hands-on daily content creation. You will be directly responsible for building brand awareness, fostering community engagement, and driving our social media metrics upward through innovative and high-quality content. You will act as the sole voice of the brand across all digital platforms, ensuring a cohesive, empathetic, and engaging narrative that resonates with individuals seeking mental health and substance use treatment, as well as their families.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy across all major platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. You will serve as the lead videographer for our social content, capturing high-quality video footage, directing shoots, and editing short-form videos optimized for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels.

In addition to video, you will utilize Canva and other design tools to create visually appealing graphics, carousels, and promotional materials that perfectly align with our brand identity. You will also be responsible for active community management. This requires monitoring channels, responding promptly to comments and messages, and fostering a highly engaged online community.

Furthermore, you will manage the content calendar and utilize social media management tools to schedule and publish posts consistently. Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing campaign performance, and adjusting strategies based on data-driven insights will be crucial to your success. Finally, you must stay current with social media trends, platform algorithm updates, and emerging tools to ensure our content remains fresh and relevant.

Required Qualifications & Skills

We are seeking candidates with two or more years of proven experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing. Strong proficiency in video editing is essential; you must be highly skilled in shooting video and editing with tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro.

Advanced design skills are also required. You must be highly proficient in Canva for quick, high-quality graphic design, and familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is considered a strong advantage. You must possess a deep understanding of the algorithms, best practices, and features of major social media platforms.

Experience using scheduling and analytics tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, or Sprout Social is necessary for this role. You must have excellent copywriting and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt your tone and voice to suit our brand perfectly. Finally, strong project management skills are required, allowing you to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

While not strictly required, familiarity with AI content creation tools to streamline workflows is highly desired. Previous experience working in healthcare marketing, specifically within behavioral health, mental health, or substance use treatment, is a major plus. Basic knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) and digital advertising platforms, such as Meta Ads and TikTok Ads, will give you a significant advantage. Additionally, experience with web analytics tools like Google Analytics is preferred.
