Job Responsibilities:
- Design and implement new capabilities and custom software solutions to solve unique government customer problems
- Follow best practices to write well-tested, high performing code
- Identify and resolve issues found in existing code
- Integrate capabilities with external services and tools
- Participate in code reviews and mentor team members
- Communicate status and technical details with customers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant STEM field
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
Required Experience
- 12 years experience writing, maintaining, debugging, and testing code
- Experience with RESTful web services
- Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Golang, C , C#, Java, or JavaScript Frameworks.
- Experience with version control software (e.g., Git)
- Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as JIRA
Required Skills
- Ability to communicate technical details of work
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take ownership for segments of a project
- Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills
- Open, team-oriented, with a strong desire to learn
Desired Experience
- Experience with containerized deployment such as Docker
- Experience utilizing document store databases, such as Elasticsearch, OpenSearch and MongoDB
- Experience with Kubernetes and Helm
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines utilizing Gitlab pipelines, Argo CD, and/or Jenkins.
- 5 years in working with military & intelligence systems, e.g. Maritime, Safety of Navigation, Precise Navigation & Timing, Geodetic, Geophysical, and photogrammetric sciences
- Experience with building and deploying software in the Intelligence Community
- Experience supporting intelligence community or DoD missions, particularly within GEOINT environments
- Knowledge of geospatial technologies and data visualization techniques.
- At least 5 year experience in geospatial data management, data governance, or data stewardship roles, preferably in a complex organizational environment.
