What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Buyer position at Radiance Technologies?
This position will provide guidance to the Buyers, oversee daily purchasing operations, and improve procurement procedures. This position will also create purchase orders from purchase requests; issue request for quotes/proposals; evaluate quotes/offers for best price, delivery, and other evaluation criteria; issue, administer, modify, perform cost analyses, and close out orders and blanket orders; research available suppliers, set up and maintain file documentation to procurement standards and government regulations.

Required Experience
- 8 years in DoD purchasing/procurement purchasing or procurement, with prior leadership or senior buying experience.
- Bachelors degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional organization, and the ability to manage multiple efforts.
- CPSR Experience, including audit preparation, participation, and corrective actions
- Unanet experience
