We are seeking a highly skilled Front Desk Receptionist to join our dynamic team in a dental setting. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient service, managing the front desk, and supporting the administrative team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental reception and be proficient in Dentrix.
**Duties:**
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, answering their questions and addressing their concerns.
- Manage the front desk, ensuring a smooth flow of patients and efficiently handling phone calls and messages.
- Utilize dental office software, Dentrix, to update patient records, schedule appointments, and process payments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide exceptional patient service, including check-in, check-out, and handling patient inquiries.
- Handle emergency situations, including ER referrals, with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Operate office phone systems and respond to phone calls, emails, and messages in a timely and courteous manner.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, preparing patient charts, and filing documents.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring that all necessary supplies are stocked and available.

- Experience working in a dental office reception environment.
