If you have ever been interested in learning machining, we are offering an exciting opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced, growing company in Redmond, Oregon! Our company is currently seeking a reliable and hard-working employee to operate one or more CNC Machines and special purposes machines.

We are looking for someone to help maintain our quality standards to machine metal workpieces to specifications. Prior machining experience not necessary, we will train the right person but some manufacturing experience or mechanical aptitude is a must. We have both day and swing shift openings. Work week alternates weekly between 3 or 4 days (11 hours); either Wed-Sat or Sun-Wed with Wed alternating on/off. Wage is $22 - $28, DOE/ depending on experience (swing gets a 9% differential on top of that wage). Swing shift hours are 4:15pm - 3:45am. Day shift is 5am-4:30pm.

Essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may be assigned outside of this list):

· Must have an eye for detail and take quality very seriously.

· Capable of simple math.

· Inspects and measures machined work pieces and make machine adjustments to ensure conformance to specifications.

· Ensures cutting fluid is flowing through all nozzles at the proper rate and directed in such a way as to keep the machining chamber clear of chip build-up as well as provide full cutting fluid to the cutting tool.

· Files, sands, or shapes machined parts.

· Replaces worn machine accessories such as cutting tools or brushes.

· Be able to stand on your feet for up to 12-hour shifts.

· Must be able to manage your time to keep multiple machines running.

· Clear communication with management and other employees to solve problems.

· A mindset to improve things and help wherever possible.

Requirements/ Traits useful for this role:

· Must be a U.S. citizen in accordance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

· Must be able to pass drug screen.

· Must be self-motivated and have ability to effectively multi-task.

· Must be a creative thinker and problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced work environment.

Salary and benefits offered:

This position starts at $22 - $28/hr., DOE. Health benefits offered first of the month after 60 days, with additional benefits offered after 90 days.
