What are the responsibilities and job description for the MRI Technologist (3/12's with SOB) position at Radia Medical Imaging?
Our facility boasts a comprehensive suite of imaging technology, including four MRI machines, three of which are state-of-the-art, and two of those have 3T capabilities. Compensation: The salary range is $49.80 to $83.09 per hour with the ability to receive up to $12,000 in Sign on Bonus. The salary is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and employment status. The compensation listed is based on full-time employment status, full-time is 40 hours per week.
Hours: Thursday, Friday Saturday (3/12's)
Position Summary:
- Utilizes an MRI scanner and power injector. Starts IVs and administers various contrast agents
- Appropriately protocol all orders in advance
- Properly screen orders prior to scan for any precautions or contraindications including, but not limited, to implanted devices
- Provides patient care services in a professional and compassionate manner
- Organizes and monitors patient flow to meet company productivity, quality, health, and safety standards
- Ability to de-escalate conflict situations with minimal supervisory assistance but able to recognize when a situation is beyond individual training/expertise and requires assistance
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program or other compatible course of study
- Washington State Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic license required (Washington State X-ray license, ARRT)
- Advanced registry in MRI required within 6 months of hire
- Current certification in Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR
- 1 year of experience as a successful MRI tech preferred
- Some on-call coverage at our Redmond location is required
- Demonstrates a professional demeanor in appearance and behavior in all work-related interactions
