What are the responsibilities and job description for the CT Technologist ($20k SOB) position at Radia Medical Imaging?
Compensation: The salary range is $44.66/hour to $69.78/hour. The salary is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and employment status. The compensation listed above is based on full-time employment status, full-time is 40 hours per week. There is also an opportunity to receive up to $20,000 in Sign On Bonus.
Position Summary
- Provides leadership and direction in the day-to-day processes and workflow of the CT/X-ray technical areas utilizing effective communication skills with technologist team.
- Assists Imaging Center Manager with coordinating regular staff schedules and arranging coverage for both planned and unplanned absences.
- Properly performs CT imaging to ACR standards
- Ability to physically assist patients to obtain high-quality imaging
- Assists the radiologist with specialized procedures
- Properly screens orders prior to exam for any precautions or contraindications
- Provides patient care services in a professional and compassionate manner
- Organizes and monitors patient flow to meet company productivity, quality, health, and safety standards
- Ability to de-escalate conflict situations with minimal supervisory assistance but able to recognize when a situation is beyond individual training/expertise and requires assistance
Qualifications and Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program or other compatible course of study
- Washington State Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic license required (Washington State X-ray license, ARRT)
- One year of CT experience minimum
- Current certification in Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR
- Demonstrates a professional demeanor in appearance and behavior in all work-related interactions
