Hourly wage range is $26.61 - $39.92. Wage is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and employment status. The pay range listed above is base pay; this position may be eligible for additional compensation, such as shift differential (applied to all evening and weekend hours).

Radia is seeking a Payroll Assistant to join our Radia team! In this role you'll be responsible for processing payroll, preparing checks, tax deposits, and answering employee inquiries on a regular basis. They will assist the Payroll Manager as directed.
Shift: Monday - Friday: 8am - 5:30pm PST (Flexible)
Location: Hybrid/Remote
*There is required training for 1 week at the Lynnwood, WA office from 8 am – 4:30 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Semi-Monthly payroll; Perform the clerical and statistical duties of routine payroll processing, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant delivery of payroll. Code, enter and audit data using payroll and timekeeping system, calculating required payroll taxes and deposits. Work with employees and/or managers with discrepancies/concerns and timecard corrections.
- Employee withholdings: Process and prepare through ADP, child support, levies, garnishment withholding responses and payments, maintain all necessary supporting authorizations, reports and records. Assignment might include computations for temporary work, bonuses, vacations, terminations, adjustments, and processing payroll exception items.
- Employee support: Respond to employee inquiries on a regular basis. Research information to provide accurate and timely answers to employees at multiple locations. By acting as a resource for employees you may assist with forms as needed and process and prepare salary and wage verifications.
- Internal Reporting: Process and prepare internal reports as directed by the Payroll Manager.
- Benefit Reporting Process: Assist Payroll Manager/Supervisor with benefit processing; invoicing for payment, ensuring the accuracy of monthly premiums based on current enrollment. Work in tandem with HR for timely changes to invoicing. Maintain records of benefit payments by employees on leave. Ensure payment is made for correct amount. Contact employee as needed to receive payment or cancel benefit.
- Tax and Withholding Reporting: Assist Payroll Manager with information collection and reporting for various government surveys as required. Assist W-2 and W-3 at year end to ensure accurate reporting to Social Security Admin. Tax Preparation: Prepare quarterly and year-end payroll tax returns including multi-state tax return reporting. Ensure balance and accuracy to the G/L.
- Special projects: Support Payroll Manager, Payroll Supervisor, HR and Accounting team on reconciliations and special projects as needed.
Education and Experience:
- ADP Workforce Now Experience preferred
- 1 to 2 years of experience with a payroll in a multi-state environment preferred
- A foundational understanding of payroll including garnishments.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with compensation
- Experience with MS Office products with intermediate proficiency in Excel and Outlook
