We are hiring a detail-oriented and compassionate Patient Services Representative II to join our team as a radiology scheduler. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately scheduling patient exams, registering patients, verifying demographics and insurance, and providing cost and co-pay estimates. The scheduler will perform a thorough review of patient orders to ensure accurate scheduling, deliver clear exam preparation instructions, and follow established protocols to appropriately direct patient flow. Additionally, this position monitors scheduling opportunities to optimize appointment access and ensure efficient use of resources.

Beautiful Olympia, Washington. Geographically located between the salt waters of the Puget Sound and the fresh waters of Budd Inlet and the Deschutes River. The South Sound offers stunning views of Mt. Rainier and the Olympic Mountain range.
Compensation
The pay scale is $22.91 - $27.49 - $32.99. Pay is influenced by factors specific to the applicants job-related years of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday / 8:30-5:00. This is an in-office position based in Olympia, Washington.

- Perform a variety of clerical functions that support the overall operations of the Imaging Center.
- Provide compassionate and professional customer service at every interaction.
- Ensure accurate and timely scheduling of medical imaging exams and procedures.
- Ensure accurate intake and entry of demographic and insurance information.
- Demonstrate thoroughness and attention to detail when reviewing patient orders to ensure accuracy and completeness before scheduling.
- Possess strong working knowledge of the patient registration processes.
- Provide accurate and clear cost and co-pay estimates for imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with technologists to coordinate exam and procedure protocols, as needed.
- Support and assist co-workers daily to ensure smooth operations and a team-oriented work environment.
- Maintain professional and timely correspondence with internal staff and external referring providers.
- Respond promptly and thoroughly to patient and provider inquiries and referrals.
- Provide accurate information to patients regarding routine billing and insurance matters.
- Maintain scheduling productivity, consistently meeting established performance metrics for quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Efficiently multitask in a demanding call center setting while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Handle confidential patient information with discretion and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- De-escalate basic conflict situations and recognize when escalation is necessary and requires supervisory assistance
