he following:- Receives and stocks deliveries of pharmaceuticals and ot
her supplies.- Prepares, packages, and labels medications prior t
o dispensing.- Delivers medications to care areas within
the hospital.- Delivers medications to off-si
te locations.- Manages pharmacy inventory management, including use of electronic inventory manage
ment systems.- Monitors product expirations and removing outdated stock fr
om inventory.- Responds to pro
duct recalls.- Compounds non-sterile and sterile medication
preparations.- Cleans and disinfect
s procedures.- Performs clerical duties such as answering telephones and maintaining adequ
ate supplies.- Identifies at least one area of specialized skill
or expertise.- Trains/mentors new pharmacy technicians and phar
macy interns.- Maintains sufficient additional criteria as outlined in the Pharmacy Technician Career Ladder cr
