Position: Pharmacist

Period: 05/04/2026 – 07/31/2026

Location: 9386 Hardy Rd, Vinton, VA 24179-5690, USA

Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week

Schedule: Rotating shifts and weekends

Standard shifts: 7:00 am–3:30 pm, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, 10:00 am–6:30 pm, 1:00 pm–9:00 pm, 2:30 pm–11:00 pm

Weekend shifts: 8:00 am–7:00 pm

Weekly Pay Package

Weekly Tax Free Stipend to be paid $1,243.34

Weekly Straight Pay (Taxable) $1,760.00

Weekly Gross $3,003.34

Responsibilities:

• Accept and dispense prescription medications.
• Monitor patient compliance and identify over‑usage patterns.
• Ensure prescribed medicines are suitable and within legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and pharmacy files.
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, interactions, and storage.
• Provide consultation on prescription and non‑prescription medications.
• Deliver patient services (smoking cessation, blood pressure, cholesterol management).
• Educate patients on medical device usage (BP monitors, glucose meters).
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions.
• Supervise pharmacy staff (technicians, clerks, interns).
• Manage inventory of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
• Identify drug‑related problems and collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree.
• Active license from the state pharmacy board.
