Title: Adjunct Faculty - Counselor Education

Job Description

Teach courses in the Counselor Education Department including, but not limited to, Cultural & Diversity Counseling, Human Sexuality Issues in Counseling, Career Counseling & Development, Research in Counseling, Counseling Theories & Techniques.

Required Qualifications

All faculty must have at least a Master's degree in the field/discipline in which they teach, with 18 hours of coursework related to the course(s) they teach. In some cases, subject to the Provost's approval, a faculty member may be recommended for appointment based on substituting significant experience for the degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or licensed eligible in Virginia
Experience as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor or School Counselor
