What are the responsibilities and job description for the Canine Facility Support Associate / Kennel Technician position at Raddas K9 Campus?
Radda’s K9 Campus is a Canine Sports Training and Boarding Facility located at 49 Tilley Road in Talking Rock, GA .
We are in search of a Part-Time Kennel Technician to work 4 hour shifts. Must be available AM/PM and weekends. Must have experience working in a kennel setting and comfortable working with all breeds, ages and sizes of dogs. Computer and a POSITIVE attitude are a must !
Part- Time -3 (4) hour shifts per week to include WEEKENDS.
TIME AND 1/2 PAID FOR HOLIDAY WORK!
Extra hours can be available for the right candidate.
Pay varies based on experience.
Daily duties include:
- Care for and love the dogs as though they are your own
- Engaging with the dogs while supervising them in the play yards
- Prepare food and feed as directed by client's request
- Assisting in drop off and pick ups
- Helping with dishes and laundry and cleaning of facility
- Emptying trash and maintaining of grounds cleanliness of kennel and play yards
- Scooping of play yards
- Any duties assigned by the manager
Candidate should possess the following skills:
- Must be in good physical condition with previous experience in the dog industry
- Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be punctual, dependable, and focused
- Must be able to lift 30lbs
- Must be comfortable working with all breeds and sizes of dogs
- Interest in dog training is a plus
Background Check and Drug Testing is required.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
