What You'll Do
- Spot Opportunities: Research markets and accounts to help spot new opportunities and the right prospects to reach out to.
- Build the Pipeline: Help identify and qualify leads, draft friendly outreach, and support scheduling discovery conversations.
- Support Proposals: Pitch in on proposal and RFP responses — gathering inputs, tracking deadlines, and helping build a reusable content library.
- Keep Things Organized: Keep the CRM organized and the pipeline reporting up to date so the team can make quick, informed decisions.
- Learn the Strategy: Help with competitive and market research to understand which accounts to target and why.
- Take Initiative: Anticipate what the team needs — meeting prep, follow-ups, and the small things that keep deals moving.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- An entrepreneurial, can-do attitude — you're proactive, curious, and happy to take initiative.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; you enjoy writing and connecting with people.
- Organized and reliable, with the ability to juggle a few priorities at once.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is a nice bonus but not required.
- Genuinely curious about technology, AI, and how businesses grow — and able to work onsite in Carmel, Indiana.
- Any experience taking initiative — a side project, campus club, event, or anything you helped get off the ground.
- Exposure to sales, technology, or a business environment.
- Interest in AI, cloud, or digital transformation.
- Experience with research tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator (totally fine if not — we'll teach you).
- A real, behind-the-scenes look at how an enterprise technology company grows.
- Friendly mentorship from senior business development leaders who'll take your ideas seriously.
- Hands-on experience across the sales cycle — from prospecting to proposals.
- Practical skills you can point to, and a possible pathway to a full-time role.
