Position Summary:
Seeking a skilled Senior Operations Analyst to join their tenured and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial services operations, with a strong emphasis on audit experience. This role is critical in supporting our trading and operational activities, stressing accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with third-party service providers, including administrators, prime brokers, executing brokers and auditors
- Collaborate with front office and IT to enhance system capabilities and resolve issues.
- Monitor and validate daily trading and positions data.
- Produce monthly NAV packages.
- Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Assist in the implementation of compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with preparing audited financial statements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial services operations, preferably within a middle office or buy-side environment.
- Solid understanding of financial operations, including exposure to audit processes and accounting principles.
- Experience supporting financial reporting and reconciliations is desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
