Description: Responsible for sales management for a national chemical distribution business. A sales manager will develop and maintain relationships with customers for various chemical products across a variety of industries.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strong new customer relationships
- Identify prospective customers, understand their needs, and develop strategies to earn their business
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process
- Maintain healthy customer relationships
- Build flourishing relationships with current customers to sustain a robust sales stream
- Explore expansion opportunities for new products or into new locations
- Coordinate closely with Sales Director and/or COO on weekly and monthly itineraries
- Report timely feedback to customers on price quotes, new product requests, and market information
- Maintain customer data and detail all external customer interactions
- Assist in resolving any issues or changes on orders in coordination with internal departments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution
- 0-4 years of professional experience preferred
- Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with Salesforce a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Self-starter with ability to prioritize and multitask
- Able to travel, entertain, and attend promotional events with customers
- Capable of managing special assignments and projects as required

$55,000-$70,000 annually
