What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Marketing Manager position at RadarFirst?
At RadarFirst, we're empowering organizations to make smart, confident decisions in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape. We're seeking a strategic, self-starting Product Marketing Manager (PMM) who thrives in ambiguity, knows how to build structure from scratch, and is energized by connecting products to people through crisp narratives and purposeful go-to-market (GTM) strategy.
This role reports into Product but partners deeply across GTM, including Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Enablement, to ensure that every new product or feature rollout is launched with precision, clarity, and cross-functional alignment. You'll act as the connective tissue between what we build and how it's understood, sold, and adopted in the market.
We're not looking for someone to execute marketing campaigns - that's what our marketing team does. You will be charged with telling the evolving story of RadarFirst. Defining what we do to our employees, our customers, and the world at large. You will equip our GTM teams with the foundational messaging, positioning frameworks, and enablement tools that empower them to drive demand, accelerate deals, and support adoption.
You'll also play a lead role in running beta programs, driving early access strategies, and ensuring feedback loops between customers, prospects, product, and GTM remain tight and actionable.
This position is remote, and preference will be given to candidates in the Portland, OR, Seattle, WA, Chicago, IL, and Austin, TX metro regions.

Key Responsibilities
Build & Own the Product Marketing Function
- Build the role from the ground up - identify gaps, set priorities, and take initiative without waiting for instruction.
- Work cross-functionally to establish how product marketing fits into our overall launch and commercialization efforts.
- Maintain a clear understanding of how each new product fits into our platform-level story, and ensure that overarching narratives evolve accordingly.
- Lead GTM planning and execution strategy for new products, MVPs, betas, and key enhancements.
- Set success metrics for product adoption and ensure GTM teams are aligned to those KPIs.
- Provide marketing with positioning frameworks, audience targeting, competitive context, and foundational messaging, then partner closely to bring GTM assets to life.
- Ensure that Sales and CS receive the tailored narratives, objection handling, and enablement materials they need to speak confidently about new offerings.
- Communicate product roadmap shifts, pivots, and feature availability in a clear and timely manner to GTM teams.
- Build and operationalize beta and early access programs — identifying customer participants, setting expectations, capturing feedback, and sharing insights with product and GTM.
- Treat customers and prospects differently during rollouts, ensuring appropriate messaging and engagement across segments.
- Leverage voice-of-customer feedback, usage data, and sentiment insights to refine positioning and identify friction points early.
- Build and maintain internal assets such as pitch decks, battlecards, objection-handling guides, demo talk tracks, and ROI narratives.
- Ensure that updates to our platform narrative are reflected in customer-facing materials as new products are launched.
- Partner with Enablement and CS to ensure product knowledge is rolled out clearly and consistently.
- Stay plugged into industry trends, competitive moves, and buyer behaviors to continuously evolve messaging and strategy.
- Collaborate with Product to ensure roadmap direction aligns with market needs and customer feedback.
- Help Marketing and Product identify which messages, products, or use cases will resonate most with each audience segment.
- 5 years of experience in Product Marketing, preferably in SaaS or B2B tech environments.
- Experience launching and scaling B2B software products, from MVP through scale.
- A knack for translating complex technical concepts into simple, customer-facing value propositions.
- Strong storytelling ability, with an ability to simplify technical complexity for buyers, and a curiosity-driven mindset.
- Hands-on experience with product launches, messaging, and sales enablement, particularly with AI-driven solutions
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with high expectations and high trust.
- Comfort engaging with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, including customers.
- Interest or experience in privacy, compliance, or security is a strong plus.
