Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join RAD Express. Your expertise in commercial driving, load handling, and vehicle operation will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized vehicles with manual transmissions.
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
• Drive route-specific deliveries across various locations, adhering to scheduled timelines and traffic regulations.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper load securement and adherence to transportation laws related to refrigerated cargo, hazardous materials (if applicable), and other specialized freight.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the types of vehicles operated (e.g., Class A or B).
• Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with route driving responsibilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight handling.
• Communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers, customers, and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $0.50 - $0.57 per mile
