Maintenance and Custodian TechnicianLocated in Irvine, California, the Racquet Club of Irvine is a beautiful tennis club in a great location in Orange County. We pride ourselves on maintaining a welcoming environment for our members and guests with great service and clean, safe facilities inside and out. This part-time position has the potential to evolve into a full-time role, complete with competitive pay and benefits.Key Responsibilities: · Perform routine maintenance tasks, including facility repairs and equipment upkeep. · Oversee cleanliness and sanitation of entire property, including locker rooms, restrooms, tennis courts, landscaping, and parking lot. · Assist in setting up and breaking down events.· Respond to requests and concerns from members and all other departments with a professional and friendly demeanor.· Inspect the buildings, grounds, and equipment.· Occasional equipment installation· Complies with all company safety regulations.· Complete maintenance log and writes shift reports.· Report any issues to the maintenance supervisor.· Follows written and verbal instructions from the maintenance supervisor and other onsite managers.· Collaborates well with the maintenance team and other departments.Work Hours and Benefits · Part-time position (approximately 20-25 hrs/week) with the possibility of moving into full-time.· Most shifts available are afternoon/evening and weekends.· Employee discounts· 401K· Paid sick time offRequired Skills and Qualifications:· High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus. · Physically able and motivated to perform manual labor including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds.· Experience in maintenance, custodial services, or a related field. · Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and customer service.· Valid official work permit in the US.
