What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manger of Benefits position at RACINE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT?
This position plays a key role in ensuring our staff have access to high-quality, well-managed benefits that support their overall well-being. You will oversee benefit programs, guide employees through enrollment and life events, and work closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do
- Manage day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, leave, and related offerings)
- Serve as a resource for employees, answering questions and providing clear guidance on benefit options
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and reporting requirements (FMLA, ACA, etc.)
- Collaborate with HR, payroll, and leadership to improve processes and employee experience
- Support open enrollment planning, communication, and execution
- Analyze benefits data and recommend improvements aligned to staff needs
