Position Summary
The District Enrollment Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the district’s student enrollment process and providing leadership to the enrollment team
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Student Enrollment and Registration
- Oversee district-wide student enrollment, withdrawal, transfers, school choice and registration processes.
- Oversee the customer experience from start to completion (enrollment into an RUSD school)
- Oversee data entry accuracy
- Work closely with student data to develop enrollment templates
- Provide Infinite Campus training to enrollment staff and school-based staff
- Monitor and update district enrollment policies and practices in alignment with state and district requirements
Compliance and Reporting
- Assist with state and federal audits related to student enrollment and records.
- Monitor changes in regulations affecting student records management and enrollment procedures and ensure enrollment department compliance.
- Support district compliance efforts regarding residency verification.
Data Management
- Collaborate with School Data, Enrollment and administrative teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Regularly monitor school and district enrollment numbers throughout the school year to identify trends for district leadership to review.
Customer Service and Communication
- Respond promptly to inquiries from schools, families, and external agencies.
- Work collaboratively with building secretaries, school counselors, administrators, student services and School Data staff.
Additional Responsibilities
- Co-lead and jointly manage district registration events and enrollment campaigns
- Participate in professional development and training activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Education
- Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of administrative, records management, student information systems, and customer service experience.
- Experience in a K-12 educational environment is preferred.
- Experience with Infinite Campus or other student information systems is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
- Learn and apply district policies, procedures and state enrollment requirements.
