  • Global Perspective:

Incorporate global issues and cultural understanding into the curriculum, encouraging students to appreciate multiple viewpoints and perspectives.

  • Student Support:

Serve as a mentor and advisor, providing both academic guidance and personal support to students as they develop intellectually and emotionally.

  • Professional Development:

Pursue ongoing required professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest IB methodologies, curriculum changes, and assessment practices. Note: These trainings are often held over weekends (due to the organization of IB and sub availability) and are not compensated. We attempt to utilize professional learning days when possible.

  • Strong understanding of IB philosophy and assessment criteria

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills

  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
