An exciting opportunity for a senior ML engineer to shape the future of a global online marketplace. In this role, you’ll lead the development of intelligent, data-driven products that power search, recommendations, pricing insights, and overall discovery experiences for millions of users!

What You’ll Do:

• Lead design, development, and deployment of scalable ML models for search relevance, advertising, pricing, and recommendations.

• Build robust ML pipelines and production-grade REST APIs.

• Partner closely with product and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Research and experiment with cutting-edge algorithms to solve complex challenges.

• Own projects end-to-end—from ideation and data exploration to deployment, monitoring, and iteration.

Who You Are:

• 5 years of experience deploying ML models in production.

• Strong understanding of classification, regression, ranking, and recommender systems.

• Proficient in Python and ML frameworks like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.

• Skilled in building production services and APIs, with solid software engineering fundamentals.

• Experienced with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• A strategic thinker who connects ML work to real business impact.

• A strong communicator and collaborator who can lead complex cross-functional projects.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with LLMs for search or recommendations.

• Familiarity with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow).

• Knowledge of search technologies like Elasticsearch or Solr.

• Background in e-commerce or marketplace environments.
