We are seeking a dependable, organized, and hardworking Bilingual Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving merchandise, picking and packing customer orders, inventory organization, quality control, shipping, and general warehouse maintenance.
The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, able to communicate effectively with both management and warehouse employees, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming merchandise and verify shipments for accuracy.
- Unpack, inspect, count, label, and properly store incoming inventory.
- Pick merchandise accurately according to customer orders and packing documents.
- Pack dresses and other merchandise carefully to ensure products arrive to customers in excellent condition.
- Prepare cartons and packages for UPS and other shipping methods.
- Verify style numbers, colors, sizes, quantities, and other product information before orders are shipped.
- Assist with processing customer reorders and time-sensitive shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies to management.
- Assist with cycle counts, physical inventory, and inventory reconciliation.
- Organize warehouse merchandise by style, color, size, season, or designated location.
- Assist with returns, exchanges, damaged merchandise, and other inventory adjustments as directed.
- Perform quality-control inspections and immediately report damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect merchandise.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Keep aisles, workstations, packing areas, and shipping/receiving areas clear and organized.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as needed.
- Follow all company warehouse procedures and safety requirements.
- Work closely with customer service, sales, shipping, and management to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and on time.
- Assist with additional warehouse and operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Ability to speak and understand both English and Spanish effectively in a workplace environment.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, fulfillment, or inventory experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Basic computer and data-entry skills preferred.
- Experience with inventory, shipping, or warehouse management systems is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks.
- Ability to lift and move boxes and merchandise as required for the position.
- Ability to safely use warehouse equipment and tools after appropriate training.
