What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Selector position at Rachael's Food Corporation?
Rachael’s Food Corporation is a local food manufacturing company that takes pride in providing only the highest quality products to our customers, servicing the convenience store industry and colleges in New England.
We presently have Order Selector opportunities available at our Chicopee, MA location for mid-day shifts.
Summary:
Our Order Selectors are responsible for selecting product for orders for our customers in a efficient and timely manner.
Experience in Order Selecting is a plus but not required.
Primary responsibilities:
· Setting up and auditing of all product to be selected
· Preparation and labeling of all shipping boxes
· Selecting orders per ticket requirements
· Must be able to count and read English
· Must be able to distinguish between product/species
· Handle all product with care
- Work in a cold environment (36°F)
- Constant standing/bending
- Pushing/pulling/lifting 15lbs or more
- Taking direction from authority persons
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must have the ability to stand and move in a refrigerated environment set at 36-40°F. You must be able to multi-task, work in a fast paced environment and have high attention to detail. Spanish speaking is a plus but not required.
The is a Full-Time Benefited position after 90-day Probationary Period.
