Job Summary
Core Responsibilities
- Transaction Handling: Execute cash, credit, and mobile payments precisely using the store’s point-of-sale system.
- Customer Relations: Greet visitors warmly, resolve inquiries, and showcase products to drive promotional revenue.
- Stock & Merchandising: Receive incoming shipments, replenish shelves efficiently, and set up attractive floor displays.
- Facility Maintenance: Deep-clean checkout stations, sweep floors, and sanitize restrooms to keep the shop spotless and safe.
- Team Supervision: Support the management team by monitoring inventory, maintaining safety protocols, and directing daily staff duties.
- Telephone Inquiry Management: Handle incoming calls professionally to assist off-site clients.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Retail Background: Previous experience operating registers, managing cash drawers, and handling checkout lines.
- Interpersonal Communication: Strong command of spoken English, with a strong preference for multilingual individuals.
- Team Guidance: Demonstrated capability to lead projects, mentor coworkers, and coordinate team efforts.
- Promotional Aptitude: Familiarity with standard upselling techniques and top-tier customer service strategies.
- Numerical Literacy: Ability to perform swift mental math for inventory tallies and register reconciliation.
