Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling their vehicles efficiently and safely
- Operate cash registers and POS (Point of Sale) systems to process retail sales transactions accurately
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and manage cash drawer with precision and integrity
- Stock shelves, maintain cleanliness, and organize store merchandise to enhance visual appeal
- Conduct product demos and upsell items to maximize sales opportunities
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when taking orders or answering customer inquiries
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and merchandising products effectively
Skills
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions
- Previous supervising experience is a plus for overseeing shift activities or training new staff
- Ability to perform retail sales with enthusiasm, including upselling and product demonstrations
- Strong communication skills in both bilingual settings (if applicable) and clear verbal interaction with customers
