ABOUT THE JOB:
Each day will vary in work and this position is vital to our office running smoothly. The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for many of the company’s administration functions. Primary functions are answering incoming calls, working with and scheduling new jobs within our scheduling program House Call Pro. You will be in charge of billing and typing up estimates. This position requires a comfort in making and taking phone calls, basic math (specifically percentages), and general scheduling. Good typing and organizational skills are key. A great attitude is a must. Any knowledge of the electrical field would be helpful, but is not required.
This work will be done while providing the customer with a great experience. High quality work and timely job performance is essential.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Great communication skills
- Great computer skills (Mac, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Spreadsheets)
- Experience with House Call Pro a Plus! (not required)
- Comfortable taking and making phone calls to customers, SDGE, Inspectors, etc.
- Coordinating job execution from initial customer call through scheduling and material lists
- Scheduling and dispatching multiple electricians
- Pulling permits
- Coordinating with SDG&E
- Comfortable writing emails
- Basic math skills (percentages are a requirement)
- Typing skills (min 50 wpm)
- Problem solving
- Good attitude/People skills
- Organized
- Must be drug free.
- Experience pulling permits and coordinating with city jurisdictions and SDG&E
- Must be self-motivated, quick learner with strong organizational skills
