- Operate the POS system accurately for processing transactions, including cash handling and credit card payments.
- Provide product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and encourage sales.
- Upsell products by effectively communicating their benefits and features to customers.
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing products on shelves and ensuring displays are appealing.
- Assist in stocking shelves and managing inventory levels to keep the store well-supplied.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly with excellent phone etiquette.
- Supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that makes customers feel valued.
- Experience in retail sales or cashiering, demonstrating proficiency in basic math and retail math.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy in transactions.
