Duties

• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges with attention to detail.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and resolving concerns promptly.
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to enhance sales.
• Assist with merchandising efforts by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring the store looks inviting and organized.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, balancing registers, and maintaining accurate retail math calculations.
• Maintain phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone or in person to ensure professional interactions.
• Support grocery store operations by assisting with stocking, inventory checks, and ensuring product availability for customers.

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure efficient checkout experiences.
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in guiding team members or training new staff.
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, inventory counts, and sales reporting.
• Strong communication skills in both verbal and written forms; bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customer bases.
• Experience in grocery stores or retail sales environments is preferred to understand store operations thoroughly.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions at all touchpoints.
