HOURLY RATE: $20.00
REPORTS TO:
Production Manager
SPECIFICATIONS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pull orders for shipments
- Load and unload trucks (galvanizing, supplier, customer)
- Operate forklift
- Strap and band material
- Manage galvanized material to keep orders organized
- Keep raw materials and lay down yards clean and organized
- Label finished products
- Staging of product for fabricators and welders
- Other production activities as assigned
- REQUIRED QUALIFICATION(S):
- The ability to read a tape measure and perform simple calculations
- The ability to read fabrication drawings and properly label finished products
- Willingness to work outside in all types of weather
- Lift and move heavy objects, sometimes in excess of 50 pounds
- Operate a forklift
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work overtime hours as needed (sometimes on a regular basis)
- The ability to work well with others
OTHER DETAILS:
Hours are Monday through Friday, with start and stop times varying depending on business needs
Position is non-exempt with overtime being paid after 40 hours worked a week
