The Farmhouse Restaurant at Raccoon Creek is hiring cooks for our upcoming season! We are seeking friendly, outgoing and reliable staff members who possess great character and work ethic. Successful team members will be able to self-motivate and work without constant direct supervision in a fast-paced environment as part of a team near other team members. Team members will set the line, prep food, cook menu items, re-stock as needed while maintaining a clean, food safe environment.
As part of the Farmhouse Restaurant kitchen team, you will:
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude and contribute to a positive team effort
- Maintain a positive, appropriate professional appearance wearing the assigned uniform including acceptable grooming practices
- Learn the menu including prep and presentation of all items
- Participate in the development and execution of "special" menu items
- Re-stock the line and prepare incoming orders in a timely fashion
- Cool and Store food as per our designated safe food practices at the end of your shift
- Keep the kitchen spotless throughout the day

REQUIREMENTS
- Prior line cook experience.
- Culinary and Knife skills, creativity, and banquet/catering experience
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds
- Experience with food safety standards and procedures.
- Banquet, tournament, and line prep experience.
- Breakfast cooking experience.
- Flexible scheduling, shifts range from 4-12 hours depending on business and events.
The Raccoon Creek Golf Course is always in great condition. The greens are fast and true. With conditions like these, it is time to get over to the golf course and enjoy some golf. Our golf carts are equipped with GPS that provides score updates of sporting events and “live scoring” for outings and tournaments. We have great family and weekend nine hole specials during peak season. Stop in at the Grove Restaurant before and after your round. The food is good and the drinks are cold.
