Job Purpose: Support the strategic sourcing organization in realizing value and maximizing efficiencies for the company’s indirect expenditures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage departmental contracting and reporting processes
- Create and maintain models to track project performance and category trends
- Assist in gathering and analyzing industry, economic, market, and spend data
- Complete the collection, analysis, benchmarking, and reporting of indirect expenditures
- Perform total cost of ownership analytical activities
- Interview internal stakeholders to develop product and service requirements
- May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers
- Additional duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree: Business, Finance, Economics preferred
- 1-2 years sourcing or data analysis experience preferred
- Strong listening and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think critically and outside of the box
- Superior quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Good communication and team skills with ability to interact with all levels of management
- Strong experience with use of analytical methods and tools (e.g., MS Excel and MS Access)
- Ability to quickly pick up and adapt to new skill sets
- Ability to function in ambiguous and/or time-sensitive situations
