The ORM Oversight Partner provides second line oversight and challenge across assigned business areas, helping ensure risks are identified, assessed, and managed in line with Rabobank’s risk appetite and regulatory expectations. In this role, you develop a deep understanding of how the business operates and where things can go wrong, advising on new products, material changes, and risk events. You work closely with first line teams, control partners, and enterprise risk to promote a strong, risk‑aware culture across the organization.

Salary Expectations:
Target Hiring Range:
Chicago, IL/St. Louis, MO $100,000.00 - $150,000.00
New York $120,000.00 - $170,000.00
This position is subject to the terms of [RAF/Rabobank/RDS]’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to [RAF/Rabobank/RDS] employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide independent second line oversight and challenge of regional business domains to ensure risks are appropriately identified, assessed, and managed within risk appetite.
- Advise the business on material changes, new products, and process enhancements, partnering with other second line stakeholders as needed.
- Perform and challenge annual Risk & Control Self‑Assessments (RCSAs), ensuring issues are clearly articulated and action plans are effective.
- Communicate effectively with management and regional committees, escalating concerns and providing clear risk insights.
- Continually build a deep understanding of the business, its operating environment, and key operational risks to promote a strong risk culture.
To be considered for the ORM Oversight Partner role, you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, or a related field or 7 years of experience in banking or financial services, with prior experience in Risk Management, Audit, or Compliance.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify risk issues and challenge effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentations.
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management, including senior leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently under tight deadlines.
- Ability to travel regionally, up to 15% of the time.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Rabobank is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.
