Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of air duct systems to identify dust buildup, mold, debris, and other contaminants
- Perform cleaning procedures using specialized equipment such as vacuum systems, brushes, and chemical agents to remove dirt and pollutants from ducts
- Handle chemical cleaning agents safely while adhering to all safety protocols and environmental standards
- Use manual handling techniques to lift, move, and install duct components or cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, cleaning activities, and system conditions for client reports
- Communicate clearly with clients to explain services performed and recommend maintenance or improvements
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained, sanitized, and stored after use
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience with a focus on commercial cleaning or environmental services preferred
- Hands-on experience with floor scrubbing, floor buffing, waxing, refinishing, or carpet cleaning is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with handling floor cleaning chemicals or other cleaning agents is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely during equipment setup or duct component handling
- Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients and team members
- Previous experience in HVAC or duct cleaning is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
