Raba Kistner is seeking an entry level Talent Acquisition Recruiter to join our team at our corporate office San Antonio, TX. This position supports the execution of the company’s talent acquisition strategy by managing full-cycle recruiting activities across the organization. This role partners closely with hiring managers and leadership to attract, assess, and hire high-quality talent while ensuring consistent, compliant, and positive candidate experience. The Talent Acquisition Recruiter I proactively builds talent pipelines, advises leaders on market conditions and hiring strategies, and assists with strengthening the employer brand and outreach efforts.
- Serve as a strategic talent advisor to hiring managers by understanding workforce needs, role requirements, and business priorities.
- Build effective relationships with leaders across the organization to design and execute recruiting programs to meet their needs.
- Coordinate full-cycle recruiting activities for assigned requisitions, including requisition intake, sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, candidate evaluation, offer coordination, and onboarding transition. Maintain accurate and timely candidate records within the applicant tracking system, including notes, communications, and disposition codes.
- Capture and monitor workforce planning with business units to gather requirements for strategic hires.
- Post advertisements for openings and monitor all job postings in ATS, state websites and through other advertisement sources.
- Find talented individuals to meet company requirements, which requires being active on social media forums, career fair attendance, making cold calls, college recruiting, utilizing employee referral bonus program and other creative methods to identify qualified candidates.
- Maintain active database of potential candidates in the appropriate applicant tracking software, documenting phone calls and other contacts and communication.
- Coordinate with onboarding team to ensure a smooth transition from offer acceptance through pre-employment screening and start date.
- Review pre-employment background screening results in coordination with HR leadership and ensure compliance with hiring policies.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in recruiting processes, tools, and candidate experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from and accredited four-year university or college in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field required.
- Requires a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
Experience in the engineering industry is a plus. Candidates must have strong computer skills, including experience with HRIS, ATS, marketing tools, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, sensitivity to corporate needs and public image, and a customer-service–focused, positive attitude. Candidates must be safety-minded and willing to travel to job fairs, office locations, seminars, and conferences as needed.
